One House, Two Lions

O Book of Kings recall the prophetic rise,

Of chosen ones sworn to protect the meek,

Who guarded truth with honorable eyes,

‘Til ego seized at glory and grew weak.

Then tyrants burned bodies to seal their reign,

Iron cruelty battled justice with brutal might,

Faith kindled resistance; found strength in pain,

As signals died and voices drowned in the night.

The enemy is never a foreign flame,

Twin lions wrestle, roaring in the same house.

One devours blood to claim its false name,

One bends in courage keeping sacred vows.

As blind children witness the sins of man,

The evil is ancient and shaped by mortal hands.
